DNA Mobile is our great long-term client. We’ve been designing several card mobile games for them already. As usually, for this project the client wanted us to take care of the whole design-side for the product.
Starting screen of the Solitaire Clash app welcomes players and provides access to the help screens and settings, where players can adjust their preferences before the game. They are simple, clear and user friendly.
We designed the game’s logo and the ‘Gamewise’ developer entity logo, as well.
We designed a simple and functional account creation and sign-in. Players can choose their avatars, name and easily sign in using their phone number.
This is a game lobby with all the available games, divided into categories, such as Special events, Cash games and Practice games (for virtual currency). On this screen players review all available options and choose a match they want to play. Players can either bet cash or gems, and therefore win real money or virtual currency.
After choosing a suitable match, players proceed to the ‘Awaiting players screen’ where they get matched with the opponents. Then the game starts, cards are laid out and players play a regular solitaire game. Unlike classic solitaire, Solitaire Clash is timed and points are earned per each successful move.
In this section players can see the results of all the previously played games and their outcomes. Each match played can be accessed for more detailed results.
In the ‘Account’ section players can see their profile, view all their transactions (wins and losses) and can cashout via a preferred withdrawal method.
In the ‘Earn” section players can get virtual currency rewards, such as ‘Daily bonuses’, ‘Hourly bonuses’ and ‘Ad rewards’ for watching ads. This section provides extra monetization of the app via ad revenue.
All the graphic elements you see in the Solitaire Clash game were designed by our talented team of designers and illustrators. Let’s take a closer look at the game icon, cards and all the other beautiful elements we took care of.

Some other screens we designed are: Help, Deposit, FAQ, etc. Take a look!
After the design was completed, we worked with developers to help them with the UI implementation. We exported all the designs to Zeplin, prepared all assets, such as 9-slice images, avatars, buttons in all states.
During the implementation step we constantly communicated with the developers, conducted quality assurance and tested the product to make sure that design is implemented correctly and a proper UX is delivered.
A successful project is never just finished. We keep collaborating with the client, because a living product always needs further design support: game improvements, new features, special in-game events, ads and marketing materials, design for A/B tests, design for Appstore and GooglePlay, design changes that pop up during collaboration with developers, and so on!
Solitaire Clash is a complex and challenging project that we’ve been working on for a few months. We successfully contributed to the game’s joyful UX: by taking part in the game design, delivering high-quality interface design, illustrations, animations and continuously working with the development team.
